What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of pre-sales engagements, helping to secure new clients and deepen relationships with existing ones. Here's more on what that'll look like:

  • Providing pre-sales technical support by understanding client requirements, presenting security and compliance solutions and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Collaborating with clients to design tailored security and compliance solutions that meet their needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Working closely with sales teams, product management and engineering to ensure alignment on customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Conducting training sessions for sales teams on security and compliance offerings
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, emerging threats and regulatory changes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor on security and compliance issues.
  • Assisting in the creation of technical proposals and responses to RFPs and articulating the value of our security solutions.
  • Ensuring successful post-sale implementation and client satisfaction, as well as addressing clients' continually evolving needs.
  • Helping define new product offerings and recommending custom solutions for key customers when appropriate.


Who You Are
You're a security expert with a strong technical background and a deep commitment to customer success. Here's more on the qualifications we're looking for:
Minimum:

  • A bachelor's degree and 6+ years of progressive experience implementing information technology solutions, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, preferably within security and compliance sectors.
  • Solid technical discovery skills and a strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations (such as GDPR, HIPAA and PCI-DSS) and best practices.
  • Proficient in security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, identity and access management and data encryption.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales methodologies.
  • At least three relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM and Security+.


Preferred:

  • 2+ years of IT leadership experience.

USD 126,200.00 - 189,200.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $126,200.00 - $189,200.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
