The Role:
Carrot is seeking a VP of Health Plan Partnerships who will be responsible for our expanding
payer business's overall growth and management. As the VP of Health Plans, you will leverage
your comprehensive understanding of the healthcare benefits solutions space to build and lead
a vertical that is a critical growth driver for the company. In this role, you will be accountable for
all health plans and channel partnership strategies and the execution and overall management
of those relationships. You will have a unique opportunity to shape Carrot’s product
development, adoption, growth, and brand by significantly increasing Carrot’s footprint in the
payer market over the next 12-18 months, contributing to our overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
● Design and implement health plan strategies to transform how fertility care is delivered
and consumed in the payer space
● Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Product teams to
ensure a seamless experience for health plan partners.
● Define and own the health plan partnership and sales roadmap, developing best-in-class
sales processes to meet short- and long-term goals.
● Build and lead a high-performing team focused on meeting and exceeding goals.
● Remain current on industry, client, and competitive trends and directions to anticipate
and identify new business challenges and issues in the market.
● Serve as the Voice of the Customer (VoC) by constantly gathering feedback from the
market and stakeholders to enhance product features and consumer experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 8-10 years of health plan partnership experience and is also an expert at building deep relationships with various channel partners (e.g. benefits consultants, digital health channel resellers, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting/exceeding partnership targets while selling to senior health plan executives and building a strong network of channel partnerships.
- Proven ability to build a robust pipeline of opportunities and close deals.
- Ability to leverage current/prior customer relationships and contacts to generate a pipeline.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively
- Strong knowledge of benefit solutions, competitive landscape, and latest industry developments.

Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $190,000-$200,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
