About the Role:

The VP of Brand and Experiences, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, will lead a team responsible for shaping our brand identity, brand storytelling, and bringing our brand to life through global events and experiences. You will craft compelling brand narratives, design immersive experiences, and drive brand awareness and affinity across key audiences—including customers, partners, media, analysts and employees.

This is a strategic and highly visible role, requiring deep expertise in brand marketing, live and virtual events and experiential activations. The ideal candidate has experience building global brands at scale and understands what is required to build and execute a muti-year brand strategy and roadmap aligned to our company strategy and growth path to $10B. This person thinks strategically and creatively, comes with a big ideas and out of the box thinking mindset, and has a passion for impactful and differentiated storytelling and audience engagement.

What You’ll Do:

Brand Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a holistic global brand strategy that aligns with business objectives and resonates with key stakeholders.

  • Oversee brand positioning, visual identity, brand storytelling, positioning and messaging frameworks, and brand governance across all touchpoints.

  • Ensure brand consistency across regions, channels, and partnerships while allowing for localized adaptation where necessary.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, both across marketing and the other key stakeholders around the company to connect our brand to company strategies and initiatives, and connect brand to demand.

Brand Media Strategy & Planning

  • Craft and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with the brand's objectives, ensuring optimal reach and engagement across all channels.

  • Lead the creation, execution, and evaluation of integrated brand campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and maximizing ROI.

  • Manage relationships with external media and advertising agencies, providing clear briefs and ensuring deliverables meet brand standards and strategic goals.

  • Continually assess brand campaign performance to ensure efficient allocation of resources and optimize channels to maximize ROI, brand awareness and brand affinity.

Events & Experiential Marketing

  • Develop and lead a world-class events strategy and global events team, spanning flagship industry conferences, CrowdStrike global events and executive experiences and activations.

  • Leverage cutting-edge technology, creative storytelling, and data-driven insights to create memorable industry moments and enhance audience engagement.

  • Understand how to leverage events as part of an overall brand marketing and revenue marketing strategy to create connections between brand, revenue and customer experience and loyalty. 

Leadership, Collaboration and Innovation

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global team of brand marketers, creative strategists and designers, event marketers and experiential marketers.

  • Build relationships and trust, and work seamlessly cross-functionally, including the C-suite, across global marketing, and with key stakeholders around the company.

  • Is on the cutting edge of industry trends, emerging technologies, immersive storytelling techniques and experience activations to continuously elevate our brand presence.

What You’ll Need:

  • 15+ years of experience in global brand marketing, experiential marketing, and large-scale events. The ideal candidate has led the brand strategy for a globally recognizable brand for a large-scale global B2B brand, B2C technology brand or a B2C brand.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling global brands in highly competitive and dynamic markets.

  • Is a natural storyteller and can capture the essence of our company and brand promise, bringing our story to life in new and innovative ways across channels.

  • Extensive experience leading high-profile industry events, from major conferences to experiential activations.

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, creative direction, and integrated brand to demand marketing campaigns.

  • Experience managing large budgets, an ecosystem of agency partners, and cross-functional teams across geographies.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a big ideas mindset and a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to measure brand awareness, perception, and stakeholder insights.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $320,000 - $370,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
