About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy for Identity Protection and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM). This is a strategic leadership role that spans all aspects of product marketing, including positioning, messaging, demand generation, analyst and public relations, digital marketing, and sales enablement.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with deep domain expertise in Identity Protection (ITDR, ISPM, PAM, Zero Trust, Non-Human Identities) and SaaS Security, along with strong knowledge of endpoint security, data protection, threat intelligence, and security operations.

As Director of Product Marketing, you will set strategy, define priorities, and drive measurable impact through weekly KPIs. Leading a team of Principal and Senior PMMs, you will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver bold, differentiated messaging in highly competitive markets

What You’ll Do:

  • Messaging & Positioning – Develop sharp, differentiated, and compelling messaging that showcases customer outcomes, market trends, and product capabilities.

  • Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a high-performing team of PMMs, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

  • Market Growth & Business Impact – Drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline growth for Identity Protection and SSPM through targeted marketing programs.

  • Product Launches – Own and execute successful product launches, coordinating cross-functional efforts across product, sales, marketing, and alliances.

  • Content Strategy – Oversee the development of high-impact content, including sales collateral, thought leadership, website content, videos, blogs, and more.

  • Sales Enablement – Equip the sales and alliances teams with compelling messaging, training, and tools to drive revenue and competitive differentiation.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence – Be the go-to expert on buyer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning, using data to inform strategy and execution.

  • Strategic Planning – Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product management to define and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

  • Executive Leadership – Work closely with CrowdStrike’s executive team to shape the long-term vision for Identity Protection & SSPM.

  • Thought Leadership – Represent CrowdStrike as a thought leader through blogs, social media, speaking engagements, and customer events.

What You’ll Need:

  • 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, product marketing, technical PMM, product management or B2B SaaS.

  • Proven leadership experience, managing teams of Directors, Sr. Managers, and ICs in high-growth environments.

  • Deep expertise in two or more additional areas of cybersecurity beyond Identity Protection and SaaS Security, such as endpoint protection, threat intelligence, data protection, or SIEM

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills – Ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills – Comfort working with executives, sales, product, and engineering teams.

  • Self-starter with high energy – Operates with urgency, intensity, and a growth mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in high-visibility, fast-paced environments.

  • Creative problem-solving mindset – Able to develop innovative solutions and drive impact.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing (MBA preferred).

  • Experience at high-growth startups or publicly traded tech companies.

  • Background in cybersecurity, technical marketing, or product management.

  • Proven ability to build and scale teams in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

  • Hands-on leadership style – you lead by example, no task is beneath you, and you raise the bar for your team.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $155,000 - $270,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
