You develop and implement enterprise-wide OSS applications and the associated operating systems and databases across several divisions. You lead all projects through the implementation of approved system architecture and designs while developing and integrating enhancements. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.

  • Plan and design innovative system enhancements by contributing to sessions with internal teams.
  • Determine feasibility, cost and functionality for design solutions after a detailed review of integration capabilities and data source.
  • Create detailed design documents and functional specifications for new applications, services and system enhancements.
  • Develop core code modules, unit test tools, release notes for enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Provide on-call support to resolve OSS application issues after normal business hours.
  • Work with administrators to configure, tune and maintain databases.
  • Monitor and manage applications, device availability, network conditions, system reliability and performance.



Required qualifications:

  • Two or more years of network OSS application, system administration, database development and enterprise application integration experience; Three or more years of application development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of development tools, application frameworks and testing tools; Expert in OSS applications and software.
  • Leadership and English communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct design sessions to determine specific solution designs for feasibility, cost and functionality.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Two or more years of site reliability and deployment engineer experience.
  • Three or more years of system administration experience.
  • Experience with Python and Linux.
