The Role: 

The Strategic Partnerships Director will oversee key channel partners with the goal of driving value across the entire partner organization and accelerating revenue growth for Carrot. This role will develop scalable initiatives across training, enablement, and more while driving operational efficiencies for the partner and Carrot.  This an exciting opportunity for an individual to shape the future of Carrot’s channel partner strategy by demonstrating success with critical partners. 

You will collaborate cross-functionally with our internal stakeholders including but not limited to customer success, legal, marketing and sales enablement teams.  

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has proven sales and account management skills and will excel in a revenue generating role. This individual should have the ability to build credibility and trust with partners across all layers of the organization.

The Team: 

  • This role sits within the Commercial Organization and will work cross-collaboratively across many teams across Carrot- marketing, sales, solution consultants and more. This individual will be joining our Strategic Partnerships team that is responsible for both partner management and growth as well as net new partner execution.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in account and relationship management, customer service, sales, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success with partners including developing new, key relationships across all levels of the organization
  • You are a hustler - no task is too big or too small for you to conquer.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to captivate a virtual audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare or benefits industry
  • Experience at a startup
  • Experience and comfort at operating on your own and navigating ambiguity
  • You’ve worked within a commercial organization- understanding partner management, sales cycles, revenue goals & attainment
  • Strong record of developing and managing partnerships and driving partner account activity and meeting or exceeding partner sales targets
  • You enjoy navigating complex external organizations, building individual relationships with a vast array of external stakeholders, and spending time understanding motivations and challenges for each

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $170,000-$185,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
