The Partners Team is dedicated to enhancing embedded payment experiences, aiming to streamline bill pay and cash flow management. We offer comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with both large and small partners, optimizing the handling of business payments and invoices. Our solutions expedite money movement and reduce manual processes, ultimately improving financial operations for small merchant businesses and delivering unparalleled simplicity for our customers.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing new next level Embed integrations
- Working cross functionally to integrate new Embed products with diverse systems
- Improving system reliability and observability
- Promoting a culture of quality
- Mentoring junior engineers
Required Qualifications:
- A deep appreciation of others' perspectives, excellent communication abilities, and a profound appreciation for the effectiveness of teamwork
- 8+ years experience in designing, developing, and delivering customer centric enterprise level full stack solutions
- Proven hands-on skills with programming experience in Java, multi-threading, event driven architectures, REST, Graph QL, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologies
- FrontEnd development using Angular/or React using TypeScript
- Expert level programming knowledge in JavaScript (ES6), including writing cross-browser code, writing testable code
- Web: HTML (5), CSS (3), BootStrap/Foundation
- Other: REST, NodeJS, Application scalability
- Knowledge of best practices & patterns for large scale applications in JavaScript
- Efficient DOM manipulation
- Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology, functional programming style. Playwright or Cypress testing experience a bonus.
- Familiarity with modern web services, APIs and SDKs
- A drive and a strong passion for continual learning in the field of engineering, with a particular focus on enhancing developer support capabilities.
- Strong understanding of developer needs and user-centric design principles for APIs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, from large banking partners to smaller Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and the broader developer community.
- Proficiency in developing tooling that enhances API usability and developer experience.
- Experience in the payments industry or building payment applications.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data querying and integration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
San Jose pay range
$175,000—$210,000 USD
