About the Role:
The CrowdStrike Legal Team has embarked on an exciting digital transformation journey to deliver on the promise of AI-enabled technology and human-centric service delivery in support of CrowdStrike's mission. The Senior Director, Legal Technology & Innovation, reporting to the VP of Legal responsible for Legal Operations, will help develop and implement this digital transformation strategy, bringing a unique mix of technical acumen, project management, and stakeholder alignment skills to bear in selecting technologies, building agile processes and ultimately empowering legal team members to achieve superior results with greater efficiency.
This role will partner closely with leaders in CrowdStrike's Legal, IT, Information Security and Business Process Architecture teams, with an emphasis on selecting and deploying a next-generation contract management platform and building-out AI capabilities in CrowdStrike's portfolio of legal solutions, including contract management, eDiscovery, eBilling, IP management, legal research, and subsidiary management tools, among others. Additional responsibilities include managing the Legal Technology Roadmap, enhancing the Legal Tech Stack and evangelizing new capabilities through effective changement management and stakeholder outreach.
What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Help evolve Legal's use of technology to solve critical operational challenges. In partnership with the Director of Legal Operations and senior leaders, this role will lead the strategy, development and execution of a technology roadmap, prioritize initiatives, manage implementation and change management of new solutions, and support technology-related projects.
  • AI Implementation: Drive the implementation of AI technologies to enhance legal operations, focusing on automating routine tasks and improving overall efficiency of the existing technology stack.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, ensuring seamless migration of data, integration, and training and adoption across the organization. Work closely cross-functional teams to define a company-wide CLM strategy and collaborate with global internal partners to evaluate priority needs and develop creative solutions for emerging operational demands.
  • Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and manage staff working on assigned projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Change Management: Champion change management initiatives to support the implementation of new legal processes, technologies, and systems; promote digital literacy across the Legal Team.
  • Technology and Data Integration: Partner with business stakeholders to document business requirements for process solutions using relevant business applications, and design a multi-year roadmap to deliver Legal and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Refine requirements gathering, perform process assessments, and implement process improvements. Partner with process owners to define and benchmark operational KPIs and support the delivery of KPI dashboards.
  • Training and Support: Build and deliver training on the optimal use of the Legal department's tools and technology, and provide general application support as required.


What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years of work experience in legal operations and legal program management as part of an in-house legal team at a rapidly growing, global company
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Extensive experience with legal technology solutions and architecture, including contract lifecycle management, matter management, e-billing, ServiceNow, Tableau, Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Proven track record of successful implementations of complex legal technology solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with both business leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Experience working with senior leads and executives on high-impact projects and deliverables
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated program and project management skills with a focus on KPI setting and tracking
  • Experience with data analytics, including extracting insights from data, identifying trends, reporting, and data-driven decision-making to drive continuous improvement
  • Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action
  • Passion for testing new ideas and innovating to drive results.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $190,000 - $290,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
