The Solutions Architect (SA) supports the Professional Services (PS) mission of helping customers adopt and extend LogicMonitor. The SA is responsible for working with pre-sales and post-sales teams to scope, design and deploy technical solutions and implementations for LogicMonitor's customers. The SA is a product expert that creatively solves business problems with LogicMonitor's best-in-class IT monitoring platform, impacting the company's largest, most strategic customers.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • The Solutions Architect (SA) at LogicMonitor plays a pivotal role in supporting the Professional Services mission, contributing to the adoption and extension of our product for customers. The SA is a product expert, creatively solving business problems with our monitoring platform, and impacting the company's largest and most strategic customers.    
  • Customer Interaction and Solution Scoping: Regularly interact with prospects and customers to scope custom implementations, integrations, and solutions.
  • Feasibility Assessment and Proposal Articulation: Assess feasibility and approach for monitoring use cases and integration opportunities. Clearly articulate the impact, value, and effort of technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical Exploration and Research: Explore and research new technologies to integrate and monitor with the product. Stay informed on product updates and consult other SAs on services approach for new platform features and enhancements.
  • Services Proposal and Collaboration: Build estimates for services proposals, including hours, effort, timeframe, and pricing. Work with Sales and Customer Success to develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs). Collaborate with the Solutions Architecture team to peer review services proposals.
  • Post-Sales Support and Automation: Regularly perform post-sales discovery and design of custom solutions with customers, assisting Solutions Engineers with deployment tasks during PS engagements. Assist and inform internal initiatives to expand, improve, or optimize pre-packaged Professional Services and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years experience of working as an IT professional supporting one or more domains of IT infrastructure: server, network, security, storage, virtualization, cloud leveraging best practice processes such as ITIL
  • 3+ years experience in one or more programming languages: Python, PowerShell, Java or Groovy
  • Experience with REST or SOAP APIs: HTTP, JSON, XML, regular expressions
  • Experience in a customer-facing, professional services or consulting role
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%)

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
