ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a software engineer to join our Zogo team in our Austin HQ. In this role you'll be working with:
- Backend tech - Node Express, MySQL (Sequelize), AWS Lambda
- Technical infrastructure - AWS Resources (S3, Route 53, Cloudfront, Lambda)
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 3 years+ experience with JavaScript and Node Express.
- 3 years+ SQL Database design.
- 3 years+ experience with REST API design.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for financial education and a willingness to contribute to a mission-driven team.
- BONUS: Familiarity with gamification principles and user experience design.
