About the Role :
CrowdStrike is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our fast growing IT Applications team. In this role, you will help the team discover creative and sustainable ways to solve business challenges and improve our software capabilities and functionality. You will have extensive knowledge and experience of ServiceNow's ITSM modules, the CMDB and ServiceNow's Common Service Data model (CSDM). You will contribute your expertise designing and building first-class solutions to meet evolving business requirements. And, you will be working alongside a supportive and fast-paced team with numerous opportunities to increase your professional knowledge and expertise. What You'll Do:

  • Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migrations for ServiceNow features, applications and projects
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platform
  • Manage CMDB health, integrations, Discovery, and Service Mapping
  • Design and develop a workflow framework that can be applied to many workflows and continuously seek new opportunities to improve our current manual processes
  • Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
  • Execute test plans to ensure quality solutions are delivered
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for assigned tasks
  • Handle Incidents per published SLAs, ensuring system stability by maintaining required maintenance tasks, and address any system issues impacting SLAs or platform health
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, typically 5+ years of IT Service Management / ServiceNow experience
  • At least three years of software development and two years of ServiceNow application development
  • Good understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
  • Solid experience working with CMDB in ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Understanding of how to build reusable, lightweight code in JavaScript, including writing comprehensive tests to ensure code coverage
  • Working knowledge of at least 2 years experience writing JavaScript code
  • At least 2 years of experience implementing a specific ServiceNow module such as CMDB, HR, Service Portal, ITSM etc.
  • Experience developing REST/SOAP API
  • Experience with ServiceNow version control and update sets
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and skipped update remediation
  • Strong problem solving abilities and communication skills
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Scaled Agile
  • Security minded and strong working knowledge of vulnerabilities


Bonus Points:

  • Experience of ServiceNow's Software and Hardware Asset Management module
  • Certified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.)
  • ITIL V3 / V4 Foundation or above

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $155,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
