**Please note, the shift for this position is Sunday - Wednesday 11:30 pm - 8 am.

You support continuous services within our Network Operations Center (NOC). You partner with clients and troubleshoot network issues via phone, trouble ticket, email and client portals. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment. Depending on the business unit, you may operate on-call as part of a 24/7/365 network operations environment.

  • Perform routine and documented functions while troubleshooting escalations.
  • Encourage reliable service through 24/7 shift-coverage surveillance or basic triage based on fundamental technical concepts.
  • Identify and execute processes and procedures and escalate as needed to resolve undocumented or complex issues.
  • Collaborate with other groups to communicate issues and project statuses.



Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in a monitoring or provisioning role in engineering or technical operations and network troubleshooting in a 24/7/365 operations center; Proven event management experience.
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Cisco-based commands and maintenance, service, installation, fault isolation and troubleshooting; Familiar with high-speed data, Video, VOD, switch, LAN, WAN, OSI, model and routing protocols; Knowledge of MSO, telecommunications technologies, HFC, CPE, DNS, DHCP email and management systems; Monitoring or provisioning in engineering or technical operations, optical, TDM, Ethernet, MPLS and IP routing; Ability to use web portals, diagnostic tools, inventory tools, monitoring tools, ticketing systems and MSO billing systems; Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical, organizational and interpersonal English communication skills;
  • Ability to read and follow documented MSAs and SLAs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco or Juniper certification.
