We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Product Marketing leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding buyer needs and developing product positioning, value prop messaging, and content that supports the buying journey. In addition, you will work closely with product and sales enablement on the development of sales collateral, competitive battlecards, persona playbooks, and ROI tools that support the sales organization.  Your work will be pivotal in bringing our value prop to life for our prospects and customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

 Market Research and Analysis: 

  • Gather market research to understand buyer needs, preferences, and behaviors. 
  • Analyze competitive products and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. Develop competitive battlecards to support sales efforts. 
  • Work closely with analyst relations on review submission process (Forrester Wave, Fosway 9-Grid, Talented Learning Solution Fit, Brandon Hall Group Excellence, etc.). Gather feedback from analysts on positioning, product, and market trends. 

Product Positioning and Messaging: 

  • Develop product positioning strategies that appeal to specific buyer personas.  
  • Create clear, compelling messaging that highlight Litmos’ unique value proposition to our target audience. 
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all marketing channels (website, social media, advertising, etc.). 

Go-to-Market Strategy: 

  • Working closely with the product management and sales enablement teams, support GTM including positioning, messaging, collateral, website copy, etc. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure a seamless product launch. 

Sales Enablement: 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to equip them with the resources necessary to sell the product effectively 
  • Develop sales collateral such as sales pitch presentations, one-pagers, datasheets. 

Content Creation and Campaigns: 

  • Collaborate with content marketing on content that drives awareness and demand for the product (e.g., blog posts, videos, whitepapers, webinars, etc.). 
  • Support customer marketing in product release webinars, release notes, etc.  
  • Collaborate with the content, digital marketing, and creative teams to ensure a consistent solution voice and experience across all channels. 

Customer Insights and Feedback: 

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, working with customer success teams to identify pain points and areas for improvement. 
  • Gather and analyze closed lost data to improve top-of-funnel messaging and programs 
  • Continuously refine marketing strategies based on customer feedback, sales data, and product performance. 

Metrics and Reporting: 

  • Use analytics tools to track KPIs (e.g., bookings growth, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value) and adjust strategies as needed. 
  • Report on the success of product marketing initiatives to key stakeholders. 

Product Lifecycle Management: 

  • Support product lifecycle management activities, including product updates, revisions, and discontinuations. 
  • Ensure that marketing strategies evolve with the product's life cycle, from launch to maturity and through phase-out if applicable. 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus. 
  • In-depth experience in product marketing or product management in B2B SaaS 
  • Strong communication skills:  
  • Ability to craft clear, concise, persuasive messaging, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to deliver effective and concise messaging across mediums: written, video, presentations, etc. 
  • Effectively collaborate across functional teams.  
  • Proficiency with marketing automation (Pardot, Marketo, or Hubspot), CRM (Salesforce), design (Canva), ABM (6Sense), analytics and video (Consensus) platforms 
  • Ability to understand and adapt to market conditions, customer needs, and competitor actions. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines. 
  • Deep understanding of customer pain points, needs, and preferences to guide product and marketing strategies. 
  • Ability to balance creativity in campaign design with data-driven decision-making. 

Salary: $155 - 175k base plus 15 - 20% bonus
