Job Description
We are looking for a strategic, innovative communications professional to join our growing Global Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling and the ability to craft compelling, customer-focused stories and engagement strategies with the goal of building trust, loyalty, and advocacy for ServiceNow and its leaders.
You'll serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Leadership team, creating omnichannel and audience communications that drive awareness, engagement, and activation of our brand, key events, and marketing campaigns and activations. You'll also work closely with partners and stakeholders to drive internal awareness of our strategic business priorities and the successful execution and adoption of our transformation programs across Marketing and ServiceNow.

  • Serve as the executive communications lead for our Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Leadership team helping create strategic communications plans to drive their brand, voice, and thought leadership within and outside of ServiceNow.
  • Develop and execute strategic integrated communications plans aligning with the Marketing organization's strategy, business priorities, and transformation change programs.
  • Design and produce executive visibility programs that turn ideas into compelling narratives, frameworks, and creative storytelling concepts.
  • Deliver executive-level work products including scripts, speeches, videos, and social media amplification plans.
  • Prepare executives with rehearsals, scripts, storyboards, etc., while project managing the overall communications schedules.
  • Plan and support events, including quarterly Town Halls (hybrid, virtual, and in-person).
  • Manage and support change communications across multiple departments and teams.
  • Develop employee experience programs and campaigns that highlight wins, recognize individuals and teams, and promote cultural values and behaviors.
  • Serve as a resource across the communications team to ensure message alignment and consistency across all audiences, including customers and partners.


Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, organizational change, or equivalent career experience.
  • 10+ years of proven success guiding strategy and execution of global digitally driven communications that inform and delight employees.
  • A strategic counselor with the ability to influence senior leaders on strategy, messaging, and engagement opportunities to drive pride, passion, and action for our function.
  • Creative and visual storytelling experience coupled with strong business acumen and change management experience.
  • Ability to translate business strategies into compelling narratives.
  • Amazing project management and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment.
  • Proven leadership capability and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience driving Marketing strategic transformation programs is highly desired.


JV20
For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $143,300 - $250,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
