What you'll do:

  • Drive product excellence ensuring that our technology delights our users, improves quality, and reduces the cost of support and maintenance of our product development
  • Ensure our products meet or exceed the contracted SLA uptime
  • Create direct and deep relationship with product managers, sales, and account managers
  • Inform the product strategy by bringing technical perspective to the conversation
  • Lead development group through platform technology transformation while partnering with other engineering leaders to solve complex architecture problems.
  • Translate product strategy into an executable roadmap and guide teams to consistent, scalable, and reliable delivery as we evolve our architecture
  • Improve the SDLC for teams while ensuring collaboration and consistency with peer groups
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to meet department security objectives and issue remediation goals
  • Build alignment across engineering and product management teams while promoting accountability, clarity, and innovation; optimize systems, tools and processes to increase speed and quality; supervise and report engineering metrics tied to company objectives


Experience you'll bring:

  • Experience working with a global engineering team
  • Familiarity with working with a private equity backed organization
  • Experience leading through Platform technology transformations
  • Strong understanding of Modern Web Application Architecture
  • Familiarity with UI/UX Accessibility standards
  • Experience working with payment teams


Requirements:

  • Experience as a software engineer and technical leader with large-scale projects delivered have prepared you for this role
  • Experience leading technical team that support and partner with international technology and product peers
  • Experience operating both cloud services, with technical depth to be active in decisions about the large architectural investments
  • Proven track record to focus engineering work on the top corporate objectives and priorities, and accountability for keeping strategic work on track
  • Experience with API management, product instrumentation, analytics, continuous development and integration, and security and audit concerns
  • Familiarity with UI/UX concepts and development frameworks
  • Full life cycle software development experience, with Microservices API development exp, with NOSQL database experience.
  • Experience with cloud platform like AWS or GCP/Azure
  • Hands-on experience with leading solution architecture and driving DevOps automation
  • Experience in ReactJS/Native and Mobile app development.
  • Experience with QA Automation platforms like Selenium, Appium.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience with Alerting and monitoring platforms like AppDynamics, NewRelic or DataDog.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills to lead USA engineering team


Education and experience requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6 years and an advanced degree.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $142,200 - $175,600 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
