Job Description:
The Sr. Global Partner Marketing Manager will lead development and implementation of marketing strategy and execution plans that grow key partnerships including AWS and their synergistic technology partners. This position requires candidates to have broad marketing experience ranging from digital, email, event, and database.
Success of partner marketing activities is based on a variety of metrics such as marketing qualified leads from partner marketing activities, partner engagement metrics, relationship growth, joint pipeline development, and partner-influenced revenue. The partner marketing engine is a brand new function for Pluralsight, the ideal candidate for this role should be open to and enthusiastic to take on a rapidly changing remit, possibly including shifting partner coverage and core responsibilities as time progresses!
This individual will be responsible for delivering on these metrics via all marketing efforts for these select partners and will coordinate efforts with internal and partner stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Create regionalized GTM strategies and campaign plans for your assigned focus partners across key verticals, markets and segments, designed to hit quarterly and annual target metrics and ROI.
  • Drive efforts to increase external and internal awareness of Pluralsight and partner success, collaborating with cross-functional marketing, enablement, and partner teams.
  • Own peer to peer marketing relationships at the partner organizations that facilitate deeper alignment, strategies and plans, and open doors to new marketing opportunities and relationships.
  • Take point on iterating a steady drum beat of always-on, to-partner, to-client/prospect joint solution messaging, positioning, and collateral to drive new business aligned to campaign themes: organic/paid social, paid media, newsletters, win stories, case studies, blogs, webinars, videos, PR, key offers and sales plays.
  • Plan and execute an events calendar topically aligned to campaign cycles.
  • Surfacing, scope, negotiate and execute 3rd party driven, jointly branded executive roundtables and industry/vertical conferences and summits WITH the partner.
  • Host to-partner events including teaming engagements, mixers and meetings to connect and build relationships between target partner and Pluralsight sellers, partnerships team and SMEs.
  • Produce participation in partner hosted user conferences and events in all key markets to stay in front of partner sellers and their clients.
  • Coordinate submissions for annual Partner of the Year award cycles with internal partner team (and win!).
  • Forecast, measure, and analyze the impact of programs on opportunity creation, pipeline, relationship reach and building, sales cycles; produce periodic reports to demonstrate campaign progress and success to senior management.
  • Facilitate sales team readiness for partner campaigns and work closely with BDRs and partner sales reps on partner lead follow-up process and attribution tracking.


Experience you'll bring:

  • Experience working directly with AWS or other hyperscaler (Google, Microsoft).
  • Deep understanding of various marketing functions that need to be drawn together to create a cohesive partner marketing plan: event planning, field marketing, content marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, business development, marketing operations.
  • Strong events background including user-conference strategy and planning.
  • Collaborative work style: ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong presenter, communicator and writing skills; able to comfortably communicate plans to marketing leadership at the partner organization as well as other senior stakeholders/leaders within Pluralsight.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ask questions and track down answers with confidence, and lead projects and initiatives with minimal direction
  • Self starter, highly motivated, collaborative team player who has a proven track record of driving complex initiatives within matrixed, global teams and organizations.


Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree
  • 6-8 years of experience in marketing roles, with 3-5 years of partner marketing experience driving impactful results for both your company7 and their synergistic partners.
  • Experienced with digital marketing toolset, including Asana, Hubspot, Demandbase, Salesforce, Marketo.


Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $109,000- $124,500 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
