About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team, responsible for providing critical financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and supporting the CFO in shaping the financial strategy of the company. The Senior Financial Analyst will also play a pivotal role in financial modeling, performance analysis, and reporting.
What you'll do
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making across various business functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.


Strategic Support:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning.
  • Evaluate capital investment projects and perform ROI analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with other departments, providing financial insights and support for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Serve as a financial liaison between the finance department and other business units.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role (Minimum experience of 3 years required)
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and anticipate business needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels

Location
ReUp is a remote organization with a geographically distributed team. This position will be based remotely in one of the states listed: NJ, PA, and TX.

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 125,000 USD per year ( Remote - United States )
