Senior Director, Strategy & Operations – Marine

Storable is seeking an experienced and operationally focused senior contributor to oversee Strategy & Operations for our Marine expansion vertical. This role is ideal for someone ready to take on wide-reaching ownership today and grow into a leadership position as we scale.

As a leader in property management technology, we’ve expanded our footprint into the Marine space and are looking for a data-driven, execution-oriented leader to drive operational excellence, commercial operations, and platform integration, ensuring seamless growth and scalability.

This role is pivotal to the success of our Marine vertical, encompassing responsibilities such as commercial optimization, business operations, revenue insights, data-driven decision-making, and M&A integration. The ideal candidate will have experience in a matrixed, high-growth SaaS environment and will leverage their background in operational consulting to establish scalable processes, optimize workflows, and drive business impact.

What you will do

  • Drive Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a scalable go-to-market and operational strategy to accelerate growth and efficiency in the Marine vertical.
  • Optimize Business & Commercial Operations: Partner closely with Revenue Operations, Business Operations, and Sales teams to optimize workflows, implement enhancements, and improve cross-functional efficiency.
  • Systems Optimization: With Revenue Operations, drive the adoption, configuration, and optimization of platform and Salesforce integrations, as well as other business intelligence tools to support Marine teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Create and maintain commercial and operational dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide real-time insights into performance, revenue trends, and customer metrics.
  • Financial & Strategic Planning: Work with Finance to refine the multi-year strategic and financial plan for the Marine vertical, incorporating commercial / revenue forecasting, cost optimization, and margin expansion.
  • M&A Integration & Process Standardization: Support M&A due diligence and lead post-acquisition integration efforts to align teams, systems, and processes for operational success, while ensuring continuity across GTM and customer success.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Identify, scope, and implement process improvements to streamline business operations, improve productivity, and remove bottlenecks.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering teams to drive alignment and ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Key Performance Management: Define and deliver core KPIs, analyses, and insights for the Marine business, ensuring transparency and accountability in performance reporting to the Board of Directors, C-Suite, and senior leadership.

What you need to bring to the table

  • 2+ years of experience at a Tier I or Tier II management consulting firm with a strong focus on operational transformation, process optimization, and business intelligence.
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce administration and optimization, with a track record of driving CRM improvements and automation for sales and customer operations.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive measurable business improvements through reporting and analytics.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, particularly within emerging business lines and /or SaaS startups.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial acumen, including strong expertise in Excel and SQL, as well as familiarity with Tableau, Looker, and similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience managing post-M&A integration, aligning systems, teams, and processes to ensure operational continuity and growth.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, especially in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills to effectively present insights and recommendations at the leadership level.

Bonus

  • Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce enhancements or leading Salesforce projects within a Revenue Operations or Business Operations function.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS financial models, revenue forecasting, and operational drivers.
  • Project management expertise in system implementations, workflow automation, or CRM transformations.
  • Familiarity with the marine industry and its operational dynamics.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-capitalized, high-growth company entering a new market with proven GTM strategy and executive support. You’ll help shape the foundation of a business line with real ownership, real impact, and real room to grow.

The role is perfect for someone who thrives in an operationally complex, data-driven, and high-growth environment and is excited about driving business efficiency and revenue impact through systems, data, and strategic execution.
