About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data Protection and eDiscovery Specialist with strong expertise in managing Windows and Linux servers, command-line skills, Windows applications and updates, and troubleshooting. This role will focus on eDiscovery collection across multiple platforms, support company data protection initiatives, and help mitigate data exposure risks. This is a senior-level position dedicated to protecting company data, understanding exposure trends, and reducing data exposure.
What You’ll Do:
- Server Management: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including advanced command-line operations, Windows application updates, and troubleshooting.
- Data Protection: Support data protection efforts by identifying data exposure trends and evaluating where existing controls are ineffective.
- DLP Tool Utilization: Use data protection and DLP tools (e.g., Google Drive, Box) to proactively reduce data exposure risks.
- eDiscovery Processes: Oversee eDiscovery collection from Google Workspace, Box, Slack, and email platforms, including on-premises Exchange.
- Risk Mitigation: Understand common methods of data exposure, including malicious or unintentional employee actions, and implement measures to reduce this risk.
- Cross-Platform Expertise: Work with IT and security teams to ensure consistency in data protection efforts across various systems.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience managing Windows and Linux servers, including advanced command-line proficiency.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Windows application updates.
- Experience in data protection, DLP tools, and mitigating data exposure risks.
- Awareness of data exposure methods and preventative strategies.
- Knowledge of eDiscovery processes across Google Workspace, Box, Slack, and email (including on-premises Exchange).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $160,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
