Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Newsletter Writer to lead the creation and management of a high-impact newsletter centered on cloud computing. In this role, you will craft engaging, technically accurate content that demystifies complex cloud concepts for an informed, business-oriented audience.

What you’ll do:

  • Content Creation: Lead the authorship of our cloud-focused newsletter, delivering high-quality, original content on the latest cloud trends, technologies, and insights. Write engaging, concise articles tailored for executives, technologists, and decision-makers.

  • Newsletter Design & Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop visually appealing, user-friendly newsletters. You’ll own the end-to-end process, from planning and writing to final publication.

  • Market & Technical Research: Conduct in-depth research on cloud computing topics, including multi-cloud strategies, edge computing, and cloud-native technologies.Stay current on industry trends and innovations to ensure timely and accurate content.

  • Engagement Optimization: Utilize best practices in email marketing and data analytics to monitor engagement metrics and continuously refine newsletter strategy.

  • Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure newsletter alignment with company goals. Act as a thought leader for the cloud computing content strategy, influencing broader editorial directions.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in newsletter writing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling content.

  • Cloud Computing Expertise: A minimum of 3 years working in or writing about cloud computing. Proficiency in concepts such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud security is essential.

  • Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical topics into crisp, engaging formats. Strong editorial judgment and ability to craft compelling headlines.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to align content with business goals, developing strategies to grow and engage a professional audience.

  • Analytics Proficiency: Experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or HubSpot to analyze audience behavior and improve content performance.

Requirements:

  • Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with using social platforms to promote content and drive engagement.

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Hands-on AI experience: 2-3 years experience building products and services using cloud computing or utilizing cloud computing on a regular basis in the function of previous jobs.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading the authorship, design, and execution of newsletters. Strong portfolio of published work demonstrating expertise in this area.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience with content creation focused on the cloud computing industry.

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $126,500 - $140,600 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
