Job Description:
As a Public Sector Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and the adoption of Pluralsight's Skills product across Federal, State & Local, and higher education market segments and positioning the unique value of our Skills product.
You will have a thorough understanding of our public sector vertical industry challenges and priorities and be able to champion the product experience, the needs of customers and prospects, and lead the development and delivery of go-to-market launch programs focused on creating demand and ensuring customers are getting maximum value from our tech skills development platform. This means ensuring the right message is delivered through the right channel to the right audience & persona.

What you'll do:

  • Product & Content launch plans with the goal of driving demand and adoption of new product features and content areas.
  • Market segmentation, analysis and buyer personas for the Fed and SLED buyers.
  • Messaging and positioning for our target audiences.
  • Customer-facing product enablement assets to support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Sales enablement materials that help sales reps close more deals, and CSMs drive product adoption and engagement.
  • Sales enablement for our partner ecosystem including distributors, resellers and top strategic partners.
  • Be the voice of the product at industry trade shows.
  • Competitive intelligence and positioning.
  • Case study opportunities and customer beta programs.
  • Other Product Marketing efforts focused on increasing deal velocity, win rates, product engagement, and overall business growth.


Experience you'll bring:

  • Proven product marketing experience, working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
  • A track record of driving growth, adoption, retention and results.
  • Exceptional ability to write clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build consensus and articulate program recommendations to senior executives.


Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in SaaS based marketing within the public sector vertical highly preferred.
  • Monthly to quarterly travel will be required for this position.


Travel Requirements
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $110,400 - $136,300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
