CAE’s Flight Services team is looking for a Product Manager to join our Crew Management team. This role is responsible for defining solutions that enhance our Crew Management capabilities, enabling improved long-term planning, innovative training, tracking, and disruption management decision support. Our platform helps carriers manage crew schedules and keep crew members informed with real-time data. Are you ready to:

The role we are offering you:

  • Define and shape the Crew Management solutions to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

  • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Create and manage business cases to support product development and investment decisions.

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.

  • Work closely with the Product Management Leader for the Crew Business in a matrixed organization to drive business results.

  • Airlines Crew Planning Subject-matter expert (SME)

  • Demonstrate excelling business acumen, know latest industry trends and you are looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.

  • Interact with customers/stakeholders in requirement gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products. Routinely collaborates with UX in design decisions as applicable.

  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.

  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.

  • Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs (minimum viable product) and quarterly releases.

  • Own and manage the backlog, continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Prior aviation, airline or similar industry experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience. 

  • Self-starter with a strong technical background.

  • Crew Management software experience a plus.
