The Role

This is a full-time position on a contract basis. The Procurement Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting SailPoint procurement business activity as directed by the Manager of Procurement Contracts. This role will support both the Contracts team and collaborate with other legal roles internally, including minor reviews and contract lifecycle audit requirements.
The right candidate for this role is proficient in writing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contracts covering a range of transaction types; can maintain correspondence and documentation related to contracts; works collaboratively with stakeholders; and has strong problem-solving and process management skills. This role fits within a dynamic and nimble team that embraces change and strives for continues business improvement. This role is expected to embody that same drive and commitment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Typical Activities:

  • Manage all incoming contract requests and determine the best way to support the lifecycle
  • Analyze contractual needs to fully inform the procurement legal team of business purpose surrounding the agreement, including company policies, and operating procedures
  • Deliver best-in-class troubleshooting support, as needed, to suppliers during contract negotiation to facilitate their use of the company's procurement system
  • Oversee the execution of new contracts and ensure their corresponding metadata accuracy in the contract system of record
  • Manage and validate historical contract data
  • Monitor performance of each signed contract under procurement's purview
  • Perform ongoing triage of contracts activity by fielding requests from internal stakeholders, confirming and advising on appropriate courses of action, and flagging potential risks and challenges
  • Ensure business goals are accomplished by contract implementation
  • Maintain contract lifecycle in company's procurement system and closely monitor term dates for terminations and renewals
  • Manage all changes to existing contracts including addendums, statements of work, and change orders
  • Ensure that contracts are in line with corporate goals and objectives
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement


Position Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or commensurate experience in a legal related field.
  • Legal-related field of study or equivalent experience with contracts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in contract preparation and management
