You are an experienced Live Streaming Technician with a background in delivering high-quality live streamed events. Here, you'll be a founding member of a new sub-team focussed on the technical aspects of making these events a pleasure to attend regardless of the hosting location.

We're hiring a Live Stream Events Technician, reporting to the Workplace Collaboration Manager. You are an experienced Live Streaming Technician with a background in delivering high-quality live streamed events. Here, you'll be a founding member of a new sub-team focussed on the technical aspects of making these events a pleasure to attend regardless of the hosting location.
What you'll do

  • You'll be the technical point of contact (POC) for events and gatherings with AV and/or streaming requirements. Your role involves coordinating with internal teams and partners to offer technical and subject matter expertise for the seamless execution of events under WPT's umbrella. These include Town Halls, seminars, webinars, in-office Team Gatherings, hackathons and off-sites.
  • Essential to the role is your genuine fascination and love for technology and events, along with a continuous improvement mindset. You recognize the significance of not just facilitating the technical aspect, but of developing positive customer relationships throughout your journey at Atlassian.
  • There is opportunity to lead this team on a global level over time


  • 4+ years of experience in both:
    • event production, broadcast/studio production, and video production
    • onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products and an agile mindset is a bonus.
  • Event planning and coordination, and hands-on operation of the technical aspects
  • Large format corporate productions such as Town Halls, Executive events, and hackathons
  • Project management skills with the ability to context shift between several simultaneous projects.
  • Experience with advanced video-conferencing and production tech stacks:
    • Professional production software:
      • Video conferencing and broadcasting services (e.g. Zoom/Zoom Events and custom live streams)
      • Live streaming software (e.g. ZoomISO/ZoomOSC, Zoom Production Studio, Bitfocus Companion, vMix (or similar)
      • Video management platforms for async event attendees (e.g. Loom, Zoom Events)
      • Presentation and design software (e.g. Canva, Keynote, Slides)
      • Video and Audio post-production software (e.g. Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, professional DAWs)
    • Professional production hardware (e.g. ATEM, Dante, NDI)
