About the Role:

As the Manager, Solutions Consultant within Motive's Installation Services team, you will play a key role in supporting and guiding a team of Solutions Consultants who are responsible for delivering technical solutions that align with our customers' business objectives. You will work closely with the Solutions Consultants and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of pre-sales and post-sales activities. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical acumen, and customer-facing skills to drive successful outcomes for our clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Mentor: Supervise and mentor a team of Solutions Consultants, providing guidance on best practices, technical solutions, and customer interactions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of team members, sales initiatives and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Solutions Consultants team and other departments, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies.
  • Support Key Sales Activities: Partner with the Sales and Customer Success teams to support pre-sales activities, including the development of prospect presentations, RFP responses, and Statements of Work. Additionally, participate in customer-facing meetings for high-priority clients, providing expert consultation and ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service.
  • Sales Collateral Management: Work with the Post Sales Operations team to maintain and update sales collateral, ensuring that all materials are current and relevant.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance sales and delivery processes, implementing changes that drive efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, SaaS solutions, or a similar field, with a focus on technical solutioning and customer engagement.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technical solutions and how they align with business objectives, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable strategies.
  • Customer-Focused: A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build strong relationships, particularly with high-priority clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that improve performance and drive success.
  • Process-Oriented: A knack for identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements that drive better outcomes for the team and customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing forecasts, pipelines, and sales activities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the trucking, logistics, or related industries is required.

Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:

$93,000$142,000 USD
