This is a very unique and exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded sales leader to build a sales organization from scratch. We are looking for a Director of Sales to join us and help achieve our aggressive sales growth. We are currently nearing $30 Million Annualized Revenue and have recently completed an expansion to support $60 Million in top line and have 15% YOY organic growth.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for building out a team, setting the vision, culture and strategy of the inside sales organization. You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Vice President, collaborating on how to quickly grow with manufacturing at scalable levels.
We need a strong sales leader that understands the nuances of building a sales organization from scratch. We are looking for someone who has scaled sales teams before; who is metric driven and can provide a world-class customer experience.
What You Will Own
- Hire, lead, and retain a sales team
- Develop strategy, implementation and execution of initiatives accelerating sales growth in both new and existing business
- Design and roll out sales training
- Compensation structure and quarterly targets
- Monthly forecasting
- Securing our first inside sales office in Austin, TX
What You Need to Succeed
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience as an individual contributor, with at least 5 years of sales management experience
- A track record of building and scaling a sales organization from scratch
- An entrepreneurial spirit, not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and consistently growing existing accounts
- Passionate about sales fundamentals, performance measurement, and client engagement
- Ability to leverage data to determine decisions related to strategy, territory optimization, process improvement, sales incentive and product needs
- The ability to provide a world-class customer experience
- Experience working in an e-commerce environment is a strong plus
The starting base pay for this role is between $125,000-160,000
