ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Director of Marketing at Zogo, you will be instrumental in shaping our brand presence and driving our growth in the financial industry. We are looking for an accomplished marketing professional with a strong track record of leading marketing teams, particularly in small, agile startup environments. Your expertise in leading creative teams, utilizing marketing analytics, making data-driven decisions, and your B2B marketing experience in the financial industry will be critical for our success. This role will be based out of our Zogo HQ in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Zogo's objectives and mission, with a strong focus on B2B marketing in the financial industry.
- Creative Leadership: Manage and inspire creative teams both internally and externally to produce compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and content that resonate with our target audience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize marketing analytics to measure the success of marketing initiatives, create insightful reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
- Consumer Insights: Build and analyze consumer insights to understand user behavior and preferences, enabling targeted and effective B2B marketing efforts.
- Social Media Management: Lead and oversee Zogo's presence on various social media channels, maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice.
- Media Planning and Buying: Develop and execute strategies for planning and buying media to effectively reach our B2B clients in the financial industry.
- Content Development: Lead content development teams to create valuable and engaging content that supports marketing initiatives, particularly in a B2B context.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a strong history of successfully leading marketing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in dynamic startup environments.
- Proficiency in leading creative teams, both internally and externally, to produce compelling marketing materials.
- Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, report creation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to build and analyze consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Proven experience in managing and growing social media channels.
- Familiarity with media planning and buying strategies, particularly in B2B contexts.
- A solid background in B2B marketing within the financial industry.
