MicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, is seeking a Private Market Analyst to join our Private Transactions team. The team is responsible for managing the secondary investment process from onboarding new sellers to facilitating the close of transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities will include tasks such as researching/analyzing private companies, document preparation, and monitoring the deal flow pipeline. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, high-integrity individual who loves startups, is incredibly attentive to detail, and excels at maintaining order in a rapidly changing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of secondary sellers and companies to our platform
  • Screen sellers/companies to determine if the investment opportunity is a good fit for the platform
  • Monitor the deal flow pipeline to determine actionable next steps
  • Assist with the collection, preparation, and distribution of transfer documents and other related items
  • Prepare company research reports including industry and competitor analysis
  • Monitor the secondary market and analyze trends      
  • Prepare company transfer notices and help facilitate closings weekly 
  • Work with operations department to set up wires to sellers

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years related work experience in a finance or operations role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities
