Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Research Scientist II at our facility in Dallas, Texas location to develop and implement models and algorithms to solve complex operational problems using operations research, statistics, and machine learning technologies.
What You'll Do:

  • Explain change, develop insights, and provide recommendations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain's operational areas (with Automation design teams, Controls, Slotting, and Senior leadership teams) to develop and optimize our fulfillment operations across the board.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives that drive improvements to the metrics and streamline the Supply Chain.


What You'll Need:

  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: developing and deploying optimization, predictive and machine learning models;
  • SQL, R or Python;
  • Distribution & Fulfillment operations with understanding of strategic Network planning;
  • Design, build, improve, and innovate order fulfillment infrastructure throughout the supply chain network;
  • Manage, design, and implement integrated automation projects with system elements such as high-speed sortation, multiple conveyors, package lines and/or robotic work cells;
  • Analyze business & operations requirements to generate supply chain automation concepts, develop and present multiple solution options; and
  • Analyze and model materials to be handled and determine the throughput and storage requirements based on cubic space need, product velocity, and cycle time goals.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
