The Billing Analyst supports the timely and accurate preparation, delivery, and collection of customer invoices. They serve as a liaison between clients and cross-functional teams to resolve billing inquiries.
- Liaises with customers to answer billing questions via phone and email. Monitors tickets, and provides timely and accurate responses to customer questions.
- Assists in monthly billing cycles, including invoice preparation and completeness / accuracy reviews. Monitors emails and promptly addresses billing and collection-related issues. Runs ad-hoc reports in systems to address customer inquiries.
- 1+ years experience with high volume B2B billing and collections
- Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
- Proficiency in managing and analyzing data using Excel and other relevant software
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal abilities, and ability to work cross-functionally within the company
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail with ability to work accurately under pressure
- Accounts receivable best practices and principles
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to complete tasks by deadlines
- Experience with NetSuite or similar billing systems
- SaaS company billing experience
