Summary:
A Technical Content Producer is responsible for managing the production experience for Pluralsight authors (our content creators). Content Producers work to achieve key production metrics for speed, quality, and learning effectiveness. They support authors in achieving Pluralsight's high code quality, technical, and design standards in order to publish hands-on content.

What you'll do:

  • Educate authors in a myriad of different hands-on production standards and communicating how standards support learning efficacy for a global audience
  • Manage the production process and schedule for multiple authors during content creation, ensuring that quality content is delivered effectively and efficiently to drive on-time publication and publication goals
  • Proactively influence and address risks and changes to minimize large-scale issues
  • Onboard new or returning authors to the authoring process, standards, and tools (AWS, Azure, software development, data, security and IT operations labs and project editing tools, unit tests, GitHub integration)
  • Review submitted materials for quality compliance and provide authors with constructive feedback to help them improve
  • Coordinate publication including performing final edits, reviewing authors' changes, content details, and assets prior to publication
  • Create, proofread, and edit technical documentation


Experience you'll bring:

  • Linux BASH CLI experience preferred
  • PowerShell familiarity preferred
  • Data file formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML preferred
  • AWS and Azure, including CLI commands preferred


Requirements:

  • Experience in a technical environment, having worked in some technical capacity with software engineers or as a software engineer or related title
  • Basic programming skills/the ability to read and understand code
  • Ability to identify technical issues related to cloud services, Terraform, AWS, Azure, and unit tests
  • Experience in production, project management, or a related area
  • Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar code hosting platforms


Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $73,100 - $85,500 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
