About the role
The Associate, Provider Success drives solutions to acute and systemic issues within Oscar’s operations. The Associate owns end-to-end solutioning of provider escalations, orchestrating efforts cross-functionally with multiple internal partners while building strong relationships through effectiveness and trust.
You will report to the Manager, Provider Success.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $93,600 - $122,850 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $84,240 - $110,565 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Leads and cross collaborates on problem definition, acute error remediation, and root cause solution development
- Utilizes data to drive business decisions to impact cross-functional strategy
- Develops trusting relationships with relevant internal/external stakeholders through effective communication, collaboration and positive outcomes.
- Supports Oscar team members through knowledge sharing, process documentation, and tooling development
- Other duties as assigned
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience in operations, data analysis, and/or consulting
- 2+ years experience using SQL to manipulate and analyze large data sets to solve business problems
- 3+ years experience cooperatively developing project plans with internal and external stakeholders
- 3+ years experience designing and improving workflows, including development of accompanying operating and technical procedures and tooling
- Experience managing complicated business challenges: developing understanding, distilling and communicating that understanding to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Healthcare experience

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
