About this role

Develop and execute a strategic vision for Udemy’s engagement with industry analysts, collaborating cross-functionally to drive measurable business outcomes. As a key business partner, lead the Analyst Relations Strategy in partnership with top research firms like Forrester, Fosway, and Gartner to strengthen Udemy’s market position. Work closely with senior go-to-market (GTM) leaders across Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to define and establish Udemy’s position in the Enterprise Learning SaaS category. Prioritize and cultivate relationships with key analysts, create strategic briefing materials, and spearhead GTM analyst relations enablement to enhance Udemy’s influence in the industry.

About your Skills

  • Strategic Thinking & Market Positioning – The role requires the ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for Udemy’s analyst relations, ensuring strong market positioning and influence within the Enterprise Learning SaaS category.
  • Relationship Management & Communication – Success depends on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key analysts, as well as effectively advocating Udemy’s vision, value proposition, and competitive differentiation through clear and compelling messaging.
    Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration – The ability to work across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Communications teams is essential to align messaging, drive analyst engagement, and create impactful GTM enablement assets.
  • Organizational & Execution Skills – Managing an analyst relations program requires balancing long-term strategy with tactical execution, including coordinating analyst briefings, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Build, lead, and scale our first Global Analyst Relations Program; establish key business objectives, strategy, and industry benchmarks to ensure Udemy remains the perennial leader across markets and industry analyst reports, hype cycles, inbound inquiries, and thought leadership.
  • Establish and run an engagement calendar to grow key analyst relationships across global firms to advocate Udemy’s vision, value proposition, product roadmap, and competitive differentiators.
  • Create, own, and deliver analyst briefing decks and GTM enablement assets with the most current market research, trends, and commentary from analysts and industry thought leaders. 
  • Manage all AR operations, including rationalizing agreements and budgets to support consistent analyst strategy days, quarterly briefings, inbound and outbound inquiries, and research requests.
  • Drive digital and live analyst engagements across signature analyst reports (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycles, IDC Marketscape, etc.) and at industry and Udemy events.
  • Proactively partner across Udemy’s Marketing and Communication Teams to provide guidance on messaging, positioning, etc. from the perspective of our global analysts to ensure Udemy’s unified and streamlined narrative across all markets.

What you’ll have

  • Experience managing Analyst Relations programs for global, publicly traded enterprise SaaS companies, or a leading Research company; Includes influencing company placement and commentary in signature analyst reports and thought leadership (e.g., Magic Quadrants, Market Waves, Marketscapes, etc.) 
  •  Highly organized, detail-oriented leader with a natural inclination for both strategy setting and tactical execution with the ability to build strong, cross-functional relationships with executives and analysts.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership to create cross-functional alignment to execute vision and strategies, building for near- and long-term success with the ability to apply competitive insights to strengthen AR programs.
  • Effective business partner with the ability to manage multiple or competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, advocating market insights and evidence-based recommendations.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.

Hiring Compensation Range

$126,000$157,000 USD
