The Opportunity

TakeUp is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling our innovative solutions to a range of exciting clients, including B&Bs, glamping organizations, and independent hotels. If you have a passion for sales and a proven track record of closing deals within the SMB sector, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

As an Account Executive at TakeUp, you’ll be the driving force in expanding our customer base within the hospitality industry. You will leverage your expertise in SaaS sales to identify prospects, close deals, and grow long-term relationships within our target markets.

  • Sales Strategy: Identify and target new business opportunities within the SMB market, focusing on B&Bs, glamping operations, and independent hotels.
  • Full Sales Cycle: Manage your pipeline from prospecting through to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs of each client and present tailored solutions that drive business growth.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas with a focus on revenue generation.
  • Incentives & Growth: With an uncapped incentive plan, your success directly impacts your earnings, offering lucrative rewards for top performers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure customers are set up for long-term success.

Who You Are

You are a driven, ambitious sales professional with a knack for building relationships and closing deals. You are excited by the opportunity to sell a cutting-edge SaaS product to a growing sector and have the experience to back it up.

  • Experience: 4+ years in a quota-carrying sales role at a SaaS company, with a focus on SMBs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the hospitality industry, particularly with B&Bs, glamping sites, or independent hotels, is highly desirable.
  • Sales Pro: Proven success in managing a full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Results-Oriented: A track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Self-Motivated: You are comfortable working independently, but thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills that help build trust and guide clients through the sales journey.
