What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
- Support of the configuration and installation of Network Interface Devices.
- Support order administrative tasks as required.
- Troubleshooting network issues Layer 1 through Layer 3 on Spectrum network and third party provider networks.
- Coordinating the dispatch and Scope of Work for Field Services Contractors to perform on site telecommunications install activities.
- Install sites may be single customer / single site or single customer multi-site.
- Topologies supported include EPL, EVPL, EPLAN, and FIA.

Required qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2025 - May 2026
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Industry certifications CCNA and JNCIA are encourged but not required
- Basic networking knowledge / troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple administrative and technical tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Communication skills - verbal and written
- Drives results through effective project and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
