Next Coast Ventures

Next Coast Ventures is a leading venture capital firm founded in 2016 in Austin, Texas with more than $265M in assets under management across three funds. We invest in “emerging, “next coast” companies at the critical stage of development to launch them into hyper-growth.

Leveraging extensive experience as both operators and investors, Next Coast Ventures has been constructed around the central thesis of being “built for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs.” We aim to be an incredibly supportive partner to get in the weeds and help entrepreneurs with the challenges of running their business, because...we have been there ourselves.

We built an array of world-class platform resources for our portfolio companies to help them address a broad range of operational challenges. We call these Company Building Playbooks, or “CBP”s. These playbooks are enhanced by the Next Coast Ventures Expert Network, which consists of 150+ top operators in Austin and similar “next coast” markets who are willing to provide advice and mentorship to our portfolio companies, as well as our Head of Platform who is dedicated to making sure our founders have everything they need to make their venture successful.
