Jellyfish is looking for a creative, detail-obsessed, and results-driven Web Developer. You’re passionate about building beautiful, functional digital experiences that help internal teams, prospects, and customers engage with a world-class Software Engineering Intelligence platform. You’ll help bring our story to life across our website, campaigns, and interactive experiences – making complex ideas intuitive and impactful.

We need a humble, hungry, and people-smart team player who will thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment – someone who cares deeply about user experience, sweats the technical details and brings bold ideas. You’ll play a pivotal role in how Jellyfish shows up.

You’ll report to our Creative Director and work closely with stakeholders across design, product marketing, content, and growth teams. You’ll take ownership of our web infrastructure and user experience and help us scale how we communicate value through our digital presence.

Let's talk about what you'll do:

  • Own the Jellyfish.co website experience – architecture, functionality, speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and everything in between.

  • Partner with design and marketing teams to build seamless, conversion-optimized, on-brand digital experiences.

  • Translate business goals and user needs into web functionality that’s simple, elegant, and powerful.

  • Optimize performance and SEO – ensuring our web experience is fast, discoverable, and scalable.

  • Collaborate with content, product marketing, and demand gen teams to bring new product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership to life.

  • Maintain a strong pulse on web technologies, trends, and tools and proactively recommend improvements.

  • Support A/B testing and analytics setup to drive continuous experimentation, learning, and improvement.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across marketing, design, product, and sales to drive real business outcomes through digital storytelling.

Let's talk about what you need to excel:

  • Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Next.js).

  • Experience developing interactive animations and micro-interactions using CSS3, JavaScript, and libraries like Lottie for enhanced user engagement

  • Experience working in WordPress

  • A sharp eye for UX/UI best practices and responsive design principles.

  • A passion for building sites that load fast, rank well, and feel intuitive to navigate.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high expectations.

  • Experience working closely with design systems and collaborating across disciplines.

  • Bonus: 5+ years experience building websites for B2B SaaS or developer-centric audiences.

Bonus points if you:

  • You take pride in crafting pixel-perfect experiences.

  • You bring an ownership mindset – proactive, resourceful, and eager to figure things out.

  • You’re energized by feedback, iteration, and collaboration.

  • You have a builder’s spirit – you embrace ambiguity and see it as an opportunity to grow.

  • You believe great work happens when talented people work hard, trust each other, and have fun along the way.

A list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must.

Occasional travel may be required.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Let’s talk about us!

This is all about you, but you want to know a little about us. Jellyfish was started in 2017 as a team of three with one big idea: engineering is the core of modern business, so let’s create and manage it that way!  With the help of our customers, we have built the first Engineering Management Platform, providing visibility into engineering organizations, their work, and how they operate. We enable leaders to align engineering decisions with business initiatives and deliver the right software efficiently and on time.
