We are seeking a highly accomplished senior sales leader to serve as the VP of Wirehouse & Key Accounts. In this executive role, you will be responsible for defining and executing our long-term sales strategy in one of our most critical market segments, selling directly into premier wirehouses. You will leverage your extensive industry expertise and leadership acumen to drive transformative growth, shape market penetration strategies, and help sustain our position as the market leader. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer and working closely with the executive team, you will not only acquire new strategic accounts but also mentor and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop, articulate, and implement a forward-thinking sales strategy that reinforces our leadership in the wirehouse and strategic accounts market.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, fostering robust relationships and influencing key decision-makers at top-tier financial institutions.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Oversight: Direct and manage end-to-end sales processes, from strategic pipeline development to closing high-value deals, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Complex Negotiations: Lead and navigate sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, crafting tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of enterprise clients.
  • Building and Leading a World-Class Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor top-tier sales professionals while leading the build-out of a dynamic team. Cultivate an entrepreneurial culture that drives innovation and excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, marketing, product, and engineering teams to align on strategic priorities and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the wirehouse market, expanding our footprint and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize sales analytics and performance metrics to forecast trends, optimize sales processes, and provide actionable insights to the executive team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales leadership, with a significant track record of success in selling into large wirehouses or financial services firms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex sales cycles and driving strategic initiatives within the wealth management or financial services industry.
  • In-depth understanding of wirehouse operations, estate planning solutions, and the broader financial services landscape.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills, with proven experience in managing high-stakes negotiations and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with a results-driven approach and the agility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
