About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to impact product development and management for Gartner’s technology clients as part of the Global Product Management team (GPM). The Vice President, Product Management will be part of Gartner’s High-Tech business that delivers value to our Tech clients who create products and services and take them to market. 

This role will focus on unlocking growth opportunities and driving double digit growth for Gartner with our largest clients in our Global Enterprise segment through Products that help make our clients successful. This leader will also manage and grow existing products in our General Manager product portfolio, which delivers value to the senior most leaders in our largest clients.

In this role, this leader will be responsible for understanding the needs of this market segment and the client roles we serve, defining the product vision and strategy, gathering and prioritizing product and customer needs, launching and managing products through the product lifecycle through a strong quantitative and qualitative data driven approach, driving double digit revenue growth.

What you will do:

  • Own the portfolio growth Strategy for the Global Enterprise client segment in the High Tech business, comprising our largest customers, driving double digit growth through products that deliver indispensable value to our clients and improve client retention and customer satisfaction

    • Understand the needs of these clients to develop products, solutions, features/sources of value for the portfolio for this segment. Build the business case and take to Executive Leadership for approval and investment. Launch products and grow product revenue in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders like Research, CX/UX, Digital Tools, Customer Research, Product Analytics, Product Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, and Customer Success.

    • Strategic Leadership: Command a powerful presence with C-level executives and senior sales leaders, driving growth.

    • Support the large account Sales Client Directors in their account planning to grow revenue among our largest enterprise clients.

  • Be responsible for the large General Manager product portfolio and drive double digit growth. Simplify and evolve the portfolio to make it easier to deliver value to our clients.

  • Be a Proactive Visionary: Exhibit a sharp, inquisitive mindset, utilizing advanced data analytics to inform strategic decisions and deliver measurable business impact.

  • Drive Innovative Problem-Solving: Masterfully synthesize complex client challenges into groundbreaking solutions, elevating client satisfaction and securing long-term loyalty.

  • Exemplify Leadership Excellence especially Influential Leadership:  Drive strong collaboration across partners and cross functional stakeholders

    • Ensure Cross-Functional Synergy: Cultivate seamless collaboration across diverse teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving cohesive execution.

    • Stakeholder Influence: Engage with sales channel leaders and key stakeholders to champion product innovation and accelerate market expansion.

  • Create Compelling Executive Communications: Deliver impactful presentations and strategic updates to top executives, securing alignment and buy-in for initiatives.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

  • 12+ years of progressive business experience, with 7+ years in product strategy or product management

  • Experience in strategy consulting and leadership roles within the B2B High Tech space a plus

  • Proven track record of launching successful products and managing them through sustained growth

  • Proven track record of working with cross functional teams to drive revenue

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analytics capabilities

  • Ability to work in a feedback-driven culture and mentor team members for high performance – champion, no-limits mindset

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 221,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
