What we're looking for:
As a Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives in a high growth, industry leading AI/ML enterprise technology sale. You'll be an integral and important leader in a fast moving and fast growing sales team. In this role, you will act as a leader and coach, guiding your team in the sequencing of conversation, communicating the "when", "how" and "why" to key stakeholders. It is critical that this individual have the strategy and critical thinking of a Vice President coupled with the tactical leadership skills of a Sales Manager. We will look to our VP of Sales to effectively lead and train their team members, setting objectives, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales. This includes driving prospecting and pipeline growth initiatives, leading opportunity strategy, and communicating strategic positioning to prospects for large enterprise software sales opportunities. As a successful leader, you will be leading your team in both sales philosophy and sales process. The leader must be open to new ideas and be able to make each sales person feel as if they are a key part of the team and the solutions they provide to customers.
What you'll do:

  • Lead team of Sales Executives focusing on selling into net-new prospects
  • Become knowledgeable of the healthcare Revenue Cycle space and specifically Iodine's CDI and UM solutions
  • Assist in crafting value messaging for prospect engagement
  • Be a front line sales leader driving: opportunity strategy, market prospecting/pipeline growth strategies, and overall opportunity leadership while directing the Sales Executive.
  • Sales coaching is critical to this role as you will be the leader directing your team from a market penetration and opportunity perspective
  • Strategic selling (Miller Heiman like approach) selling to multiple stakeholders: CDI or UM Director, VP of Revenue Cycle, CFO, CMO, CIO, Physician leaders, and AI Officers. This includes coaching and enabling sales executives to engage in active relationship building with health system executives uncovering their strategic initiatives and pain points as it relates to revenue integrity (CMI, Denials, Documentation Integrity, Payer Strategy, etc..)
  • Become an expert presenting Iodine's value proposition, pitch decks, ROI messaging, and Business Case/Impact Analysis


What we'd love to see:

  • BA/BS Degree or the equivalent
  • 10+ years' sales experience as a top producer selling into prospects/new accounts
  • 5+ years' in a sales leadership role
  • Direct sales experience as a top producer generating new accounts at a SaaS-based or healthcare technology company
  • Experience leading through complex, solutions-based sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience presenting and facilitating group discussions to a desired outcome
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and questioning skills
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, competing priorities while consistently

  • Team player DNA with a desire to solve for the interests of our clients and of our business
  • Positive, self-starter attitude with a desire to exceed expectations and tackle the challenge of a layered and complex sales process
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, with an absolute focus on quality of work
  • Active listener. Any time a sales manager interacts with team members, leadership stakeholders, prospects, or customers, active listening is crucial
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, if necessary
