Iodine Software is the leader in clinical AI for highly accurate capture of patient documentation.
The Role

User Experience (UX) Designer
Join us. Let's make a direct impact in healthcare.
Being an Iodine employee means becoming part of something bigger: using clinical AI technology to drive smarter healthcare processes and positively impact patient care.
Who we are:
Iodine is an enterprise AI company that is championing a radical rethink of how to create value for healthcare professionals, leaders, and their organizations: automating complex clinical tasks, generating insights and empowering intelligentcare. Powered by one of the largest sets of clinical data and use cases available, our groundbreaking clinical machine-learning engine, CognitiveML, constantly ingests the patient record to generate real-time, highly focused, predictive insights that clinicians and hospital administrators can leverage to dramatically augment the management of care delivery.
What we're looking for:
Iodine Software is seeking a User Experience Designer - to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, the UX Designer will understand user needs and motivations, evangelize validations and insights, earn user trust and drive behavior to improve outcomes.
What you'll do:
Accustomed to ambiguity and complexity, you'll help fully understand and tame messy problem spaces. Conducting a discovery discussion is not a scary concept. You'll jump at the opportunity to get feedback from real humans using your products.
You'll think about system flow and understand how humans think and behave when accomplishing tasks with AI technology.
Interaction design is your wheelhouse. You will evangelize the value and best practices of design and cleverly assemble design concepts utilizing your familiarity with a wide range of interaction patterns for desktop and mobile applications.
You're a highly collaborative thinker who is not shy about engaging a diverse set of clinicians and technologists. You will easily share your ideas through compelling words, mockups, and prototypes with various levels of fidelity.
What we'd love to see:
Experience with...

  • Contextual inquiries
  • Discovery workshops
  • Usability tests
  • Human-centered design principles
  • Interaction design heuristics and universal patterns
  • Design systems and frameworks

Ability to create...

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HCI, computer science, psychology, design, or related fields with 2+ years of industry experience or the candidate may demonstrate an equivalent 4+ years industry related experience

  • Experience with user research platforms such as Dovetail and Maze
