The UX Designer will apply user-centered design methods and UX industry best practices that support business strategies and produces modern and intuitive user interfaces. This role will have significant influence in defining, shaping and crafting digital solutions by delivering outstanding user-centered designs in support of software application experiences.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and engineers to translate business requirements into user-centered design solutions

  • Conduct and analyze customer research to inform design decisions and product strategy

  • Create and maintain design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

  • Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products

  • Facilitate design workshops and present concepts to stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, QA, marketing, and IT to deliver high-quality digital solutions

  • Champion human-centered design principles throughout the organization

Critical and Essential Tasks

  • Create and maintain a wide range of design artifacts, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Develop and evolve EZCORP's design system to ensure consistency across all digital products.

  • Facilitate design workshops and present concepts to stakeholders, articulating design decisions clearly and persuasively.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing guidance as needed.

  • Utilize advanced features of design tools such as Figma for all aspects of the design process.

  • Apply best practices in UI design, including color theory, typography, and iconography, to create visually appealing and functional interfaces.

  • Conduct usability testing and analyze results to continuously improve user experiences.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into design solutions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.

  • Strong experience with design systems and component-based design.

  • In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

  • Expertise in conducting and applying customer research, including qualitative and quantitative methods.

  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies and their impact on design feasibility.

  • Proven experience working in an agile environment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and proactive communication.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 3 years of UX/UI design experience for web and mobile applications.

  • Proven track record of delivering user-centered design solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or rewards programs is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and apply customer research to inform design decisions.

A strong portfolio showing a minimum of 3 projects with detailed case studies is required. The portfolio should highlight:

  • Your design process from concept to completion.

  • Integration of customer research insights.

  • Problem-solving skills and creative solutions.

  • Ability to design across various digital platforms.
