Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
•Understand and translate China customer needs, competitive market dynamics, government policies and regulations into actionable Win in China strategies, roadmaps and common goals for GEHC horizontal teams including Imaging, ULS, PCS segments, China region and functions such as product management, engineering, supply chain including manufacturing and sourcing, services, QARA including supplier quality. Work closely with China leadership and teams including government affairs and market access (GAMA), strategic marketing, Imaging, ULS, PCS business units for internal and external inputs and requirements.
•Develop and improve Out-Innovate, Out-Cost program funnel generation, business case quantification, investment prioritization mechanisms and communications among teams. Establish cross functional cadence and organize regular disruptive cost workout (DCW) and Kaizen events engaging all stake holders to continuously brainstorm creative ideas from new features, new configurations, new HW, new AI/DL SW, to manufacturing and supplier transfer/localization, new manufacturing materials, new sourcing suppliers, and quickly adopt to market and competition shifts such as Volume Based Purchasing (VBP) and recent Equipment Renewal Stimulus Programs. Utilize GEHC annual planning process from World Wide Product Plan (WWPP), to Long Term Strategy (LTS) for next 3 years and budget cycle for next year to effectively consolidate and clearly communicate Win in China program needs up front, maximize GEHC return of investment, integrate active and new activities from cross functional teams to move towards our common goals with full alignment and speed.
•Develop and improve Win in China Big Rock operating mechanisms from daily execution standup by project teams, win the week by leaders of key work streams to timely address execution risks and provide help, to monthly operating reviews (MOR) by top segment and China leadership and monthly GEHC Steering Committee to ensure leadership focus and execution intensity across the company. Define and implement standard KPIs, bowlers for teams to track progress, flag issues, conduct collaborative problem solving and drive counter measure actions.
•Develop and improve cross functional processes and team effectiveness to drive organization agility, competitive speed in decision making, program execution, new product and solution introduction. Work closely with global function/process owners and local project teams to apply Lean in daily work, go to Genba, conduct Kaizen, simplify and optimize end to end business processes such as manufacturing and supplier transfer process, design change ECO/ECR processes, bench mark with local competitions, significantly reduce cycle time to enable “fast and furious” out-innovate and out-cost. Develop new process and capabilities such as IP localization, IB upgrade NMPA registration, JV partnership.
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, supply chain, business, finance, or related fields
•10+ years’ progressive leadership experience in product management, engineering, sourcing, supply chain, service or commercial operations, or related fields
•Strong leadership skills to influence cross functional and global teams
•Strong leadership skills to shape business vision and roadmaps
•Strong leadership skills to drive culture changes and process improvement
•Strong interpersonal skills to work with China local teams and global teams

Desired Characteristics
•MBA, MS or PhD in engineering, supply chain, or related fields
•15+ years’ leadership experience with HealthCare product management, NPI, sourcing, supply chain, service or commercial operations, or related fields
•Graduates of LDP, XLP, CAS, OMLP, ECLP, or other leadership programs
•Deep experience and personal credibility in working with China local and global teams
•Deep knowledge of HealthCare products, processes and work systems
•Deep understanding of China market dynamics, competitions, government policies and regulations
•Proven operation leadership to manage multiple complex projects and deliver results
•Proven leadership for horizonal teams
