Territory Sales Representative- Miami, Florida
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be selling directly to SMB accounts of our leading NoSQL database, Capella. You will be part of a field sales team that has established Couchbase as the first Engagement Database in the world. You’ll be driving opportunities and selling the value of our product and services offering, selling the value of our product and services offering.
Location: Miami, Florida 
Responsibilities

  • Close business to meet or exceed quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Uncover opportunity at existing accounts and establish new accounts to develop sales pipeline
  • Maintain pipeline in salesforce.com CRM system, tracking interactions with prospects and customers
  • Conduct presentation of the company and product line
  • Conduct high-level demonstration of the products
  • Travel to customer sites
  • Maintain daily activities in salesforce.com CRM system, tracking interactions with prospects and customers
  • Manage opportunities and forecast

Desired Qualifications

  • May have just moved from inside sales to a field role (at least 1-2 years of overall sales closing experience)
  • Can articulate a track record of producing as new logo/pipeline generator at startup or small company with large company competition
  • Trained in Strategic Selling methodology (M-H, MEDDIC desired)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player
  • Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive extremely fast

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Superb relationship building skills and ability to show value to clients
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.

Base Pay Range

$86,700$102,000 USD
