The Tax and Treasury Intern will assist in tax provisions, compliance workpapers, and cash management while gaining practical experience in tax reporting and treasury functions.
Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax and Treasury Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax reporting and compliance, cash management and bank account support within a fast-paced, multinational environment. You’ll work closely with our tax and treasury team, supporting a variety of related functions while developing valuable technical and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing tax provision and compliance supporting workpapers and information
- Help prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings and estimates
- Support the analysis and reconciliation of tax accounts
- Research and document tax positions under the guidance of senior team members
- Aid in opportunities for process improvements, including automation
- Assist with cash management and bank account support
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field graduating in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial analysis tools is a plus
- Interest in corporate tax or treasury and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting
- Positive attitude!
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in learning about corporate tax and managing financial resources
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track projects, deadlines, and deliverables
- Experience or coursework related to finance, accounting and economics
- Proficiency in Excel (such as working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
