** This position requires you to work the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 6:30am - 3pm  CST and Wednesday and Thursday 6:00am -2:30pm in CST.

Position Summary/Objective

The Sr. Tax Processor is responsible for ensuring daily tax liabilities are completed and processed accurately. data management is complete and accurate for assigned jurisdictions to assist with completing timely and accurate filings and payments. Sr Tax Processor is responsible work with leaders and the internal team.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Process Daily Tax Integrations by creating a packet
  • Perform frequency updates
  • Work with the internal team to process mapped tax codes
  • Monitor the tax process dashboard
  • Research discrepancies from daily tax integrations
  • Complete research and reports
  • Process and monitor Estimated Tax Payments
  • Validate inactive tax codes for compliance
  • Ensure required codes are set up (combined codes)
  • Set up new tax codes during daily importation
  • Provide excellent customer service through email, case, and tasks

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Payroll and/or tax experience OR 3-5 years of customer service/payroll processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills, including both written and verbal forms.
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.
  • Must be able to work in a high-demand, fast-paced outsourcing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Associate degree or higher (or 3 years experience equivalent)
  • Experience in an outsourcing environment, payroll or tax-preferred
  • Multi-state jurisdiction knowledge and background
  • Experience in a helpdesk environment
