PURPOSE
This position supports a wide variety of technical functions, troubleshooting, planning, implementations, and construction activities for the New Store Team currently managed by the Senior Manager - New Store Team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vendor Technical Management
- New Store Installation Standards Adherence
- New Store Construction Standards Adherence
- Onsite Low Voltage Troubleshooting / Vendor Guidance
- Onsite Desktop Support Troubleshooting / Vendor Guidance
- Onsite Network Support Troubleshooting / Vendor Guidance
- Onsite Local Exchange Carrier Support / Vendor Guidance
- Sales Floor Enablers (SFE) Deployment / Vendor Guidance
- Installation/Troubleshooting / Vendor Guidance for Onsite Peripherals including HP Printers, Zebra Printers, Zebra Scan Guns, Epson Printers, Ingenico PIN Pads, and all related interface methods.
- Desktop software installation utilizing Software Center, Manufacture Drivers, and Proprietary Software Tools and Applications where directed.
- Verification of Switch Port Assignments for all Desktops, Printers, Network Access Points, and Zoom Phones.
- Review of Construction Documentation and Technical Drawings for all Low Voltage and Computing Related Locations within a Store Front Facility.
- Verification of functionality of New Dimensions/Kronos Onsite Time Clocks
- Verification of Installation and Correct Port Assignments for: People Counters, Bosch Alarm Systems, March Networks Security Surveillance Systems, and Mood Media Systems.

Preferred Technical Skills Include:
- Client Server Computing (SCCM/Active Directory)
- Desktop Operating Systems Support and Troubleshooting (Windows 10/11)
- HP Printers Installations and Troubleshooting
- Experience with CAT5e/CAT6 Wire troubleshooting with CAT5e/CAT6 Wire troubleshooting
- Experience with Cisco Meraki Web Interface for Usage and Troubleshooting
- Experience with Office 365 Products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience Reading Architectural Drawings for Network Related Functions
- Fundamentals of Technical Writing and Presentation
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Science or Information Technology (Relevant work experience will be substituted for the required education)
- 2+ Experience as a Lead IT Specialist/Engineer
- Experience or Certified with Managed VoIP Telephone Systems
- Experience or Certified) with Managed WAN/LAN/Wireless Networks
- Experience or Certified with Server Operations/Configuration Management
- Experience or Certified with Microsoft Project or other Project Management Software
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
- Up to 70% Travel Required Including Air and Car Travel
- Limited work in a warehouse environment requiring a safety vest and hardhat
- Majority work will be remote with several In-Office visits quarterly
- Majority work will be determined based upon the needs of the site, vendor, or direct reporting manager
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily Desk Based / Personal Workspace Activities
- Ability to lift or exert 10lbs to 20lbs of force occasionally
- Sedentary work which involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
