Position Summary: 

We are seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategy, Analytics, and Transformation to play a critical role in developing a World Class Data Analytics Function to support Call Center, Digital, and Legal Recovery Strategies. This will require a deep understanding of Legal Recovery Processes, working closely with Operations, to develop MIS/Reporting, Analytics, Models, Data, and Strategic Insights. This will require an understanding of Call Center and advanced Digital Strategies. The successful candidate will bring pragmatic experience deploying Advanced Analytics, Digital, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive improvements in E2E Processes, Financial Performance, and Client Experience.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic and data-driven leader who thrives at the intersection of analytics, technology, and operations, helping to shape the future of collections and legal recovery through data, insights, and innovation.
The ideal candidate will live in or be willing to transfer to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. A very comprehensive relocation package will be offered.
We will also consider an exceptional remote candidate who is able to travel to our Norfolk, VA office on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, MIS, and transformation within consumer finance, collections, and legal recovery.
  • Strong expertise in building and deploying data and analytics solutions for collections and legal recovery
  • Strong expertise in Advanced Analytics, Digital, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Experience working closely with Operations and Technology teams to drive execution.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving E2E transformations.
  • Deep understanding of legal recovery processes.
  • Experience with digital collections and call center analytics.
  • Expertise with legal technology solutions and workflow automation.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data analytics into actionable strategy and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
This position reports to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) and will be a key partner with Operations and Technology. The SVP will work closely with Operations and Technology teams to ensure that data, analytics, automation, and digital tools are effectively leveraged to optimize collections strategy across all channels, maximizing Return On Investment (ROI).  

Strategy & Business Impact

  • Develop and oversee data-driven strategies for call center, digital, and legal recovery operations.
  • Partner with Operations and Business Leaders to ensure strategy is aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digital engagement, and workflow improvements that drive better recovery performance and lower operational costs.

Analytics, MIS & Data 

  • Build and enhance MIS, reporting, and analytics frameworks to improve visibility into collections and legal recovery performance.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to enable data-driven decision-making at all levels.
  • Enable predictive modeling and segmentation to optimize customer outreach, case prioritization, and legal recovery effectiveness 
  • Work closely with Technology teams to ensure the right data architecture, automation tools, and AI-driven insights are in place.

Legal Recovery Process Transformation

  • Support the transformation of the end-to-end legal recovery process through right analytics, models and data solutions.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Legal teams to enhance performance in end-to-end legal process.   
  • Leverage data science and automation to improve legal case selection, prioritization, and cost management.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a critical link between Data & Analytics, Operations, and Technology, and the Executive ensuring alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to integrate analytics into daily workflows and decision-making.
  • Work with Technology teams to embed advanced analytics, automation, and AI into collections and legal recovery platforms.

Salary Range:

PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate.  In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.  PRA offers paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, and other benefits to assist with the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees.
