 We are seeking a high-impact strategic lead to drive key sneaker initiatives at eBay. This role will focus primarily on developing and executing high-impact strategies that strengthen eBay's position as the trusted marketplace of choice for sneaker enthusiasts worldwide. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify growth opportunities, enhance seller engagement, and optimize marketplace performance. 

In addition to strategic initiatives, you will also evaluate demand-related opportunities, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making and support eBay Sneakers' expansion efforts. This is a high-visibility role that requires a deep understanding of the sneaker resale market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. 

Key responsibilities: 

Develop executive-level presentations that clearly communicate strategies, opportunities, and performance insights to senior leadership. 

Analyze key business metrics—traffic, engagement, and conversion rates—to optimize performance and guide strategic decision-making. 

Stay ahead of competitive trends and market dynamics to ensure eBay Sneakers remains the top choice for sneaker enthusiasts. 

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, aligning efforts for maximum business impact. 

Develop and implement unique marketing campaigns and initiatives that resonate with the sneaker community, leveraging insights and a deep understanding of sneaker culture. 

Experiment with new marketing channels and tactics, collaborating with designers, content creators, and agencies to bring creative concepts to life. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

3+ years of post-MBA strategy consulting or investment banking experience with prior work supporting eCommerce or marketplaces a plus 

Passion for sneakers with an understanding of market dynamics 

Proven ability to construct thoughtful and persuasive business cases and models backed by data 

Strong project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams 

Growth-oriented, with an ownership mindset focused on driving performance against KPIs
