The Job:  

We are 18 months post implementation!!   Come join our team and take us across the Workday line and to the next level!!    This role is ideal for someone who loves to learn, grow, and contribute to innovative solutions while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.  As a Workday Subject Matter Expert, you’ll be part of our Global HRIS team, reporting to the Workday Product Development Manager, working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:   

  • Analysis and Configuration:
    • Perform analysis on configuration, business processes, and functionality within the Workday ecosystem.
    • Expertise in Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, and Benefits modules.
  • Design and Implementation:
    • Design business processes and technical requirements to ensure solutions deliver excellent experiences.
    • Collaborate with product design and business partners to deliver impactful solutions.
    • Configure complex business processes as approved by the Product Development Manager and Solutions Architects.
  • Technical Impact and Documentation:
    • Analyze downstream technical impacts from backlog resolution and release management activities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations related to these activities.
    • Work with the Enablement team to document system process flows for end users.
  • Cross-Functional Initiatives:
    • Contribute to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations.
    • Support, iterate, and test functionality and processes in Workday.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Partner with the Manager and Solutions Architect for continuous process improvement.
    • Collaborate with Tiered services and act as T3 technical support for business process configurations.
    • Complete in-depth testing and debugging as needed.
  • Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
    • Support regulatory and data compliance.
    • Stay updated on Workday products, new features, releases, and integrated technologies.

The Person:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years as a Workday HRIS Administrator (configuration) required.
    • Workday Implementation experience is a plus.
    • Experience in other HRIS platforms (e.g., CRMs, ATS, Service Now, SFDC) is a plus.
    • Experience with software development cycles and methodologies.
    • Experience with testing methodology and approach.
    • Experience in a multinational corporation.
    • Experience implementing and/or administering a global compensation review process
  • Certifications:
    • Workday Certifications are highly preferred.
    • Courses: Compensation and advanced compensation fundamentals.
    • Certifications: Compensation pro.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to influence teammates and key stakeholders using data and logic.
    • Release management experience.
    • Ability to communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to adapt plans to meet priorities and think creatively to meet needs.
    • Understanding that innovation results from team contributions.
